Spanish law requires PASSPORT registration for all guests. We provide an online platform to make this process simple. You can complete the digital check-in and share the same link with all members of your group staying at the apartment.
You will receive the online check-in link 72 hours before your arrival.
Guest Count & Access Codes
- Matching Guest Numbers: Please ensure that the total number of guests shown at the start of the online check-in matches the number of guests you are registering. If these numbers do not match, the check-in process cannot be completed and you will not receive the property access codes.
- Code Generation Rule: Access codes can only be generated if the number of guests registered during online check-in matches the number of guests included in the original reservation.
Security Deposit & Credit Card Rules
- Credit Card Required: To fully complete the form, you must enter a credit card for the security deposit. A temporary hold will be placed on the card;
- Debit cards are NOT accepted.
- Automatic Release: The hold will be automatically released a few days after check-out
Understanding the security deposit
For reservations over 1 week, a request is sent to the bank to block the amount.
- 7-Day Block Limit: As per banks' policies, they only allow blocking the requested amount for periods of 7 days. After that, the retention is automatically renewed for another 7 days. The banks allow renewing the 7-day retention up to 30 days.
- Post-Check-Out Release: Additionally, Chekin automatically sends the release request to the bank 7 days after the check-out.
